Biography Highlight

Xia Yong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jingzhou, Hubei province. He was born in 1961, and attained a master's degree at the Southwest University of Politics and Law. He is a research fellow and a tutor of doctoral candidates. In 2004 he served as deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee. From 2005 to 2013 he was director of the National Administration for Protection of State Secrets. In 2013 he became Deputy Director of the Legislative Affairs Office of State Council.
